Block and Dodge!


This project is a bit of an idle exercise, I think.  I'm genuinely unsure if there's any demographic out there that enjoys this kind of thing.  I guess that's what this is for, though!


I lifted some Shield and Dodge mechanics from Vermintide.  Going to revisit those a little more, I'm not sure the shield mechanics add much to the experience of fighting lots of dudes.


I think I need to break up the enemy attack patterns a bit.  Right now, they all shoot as a group.  It would encourage more creative positioning if individuals also took some potshots.  Right now the game flow is pretty predictable.

Melee enemies and different move patterns will help that too.
